Comments: Glutton for Punishment

<3 meshsmooth. just takes a lot of playing around with. are you using patches or just smoothing rough polys?

Well, I haven't decided yet. I think pathces will probably be easier for this type of modeling. Basically I have an outline in splines of the basic hole elements (fairway, bunkers, greens, etc) and I'll use them as guides to lay down the patches. hen I can adjust the topology, and convert to a mesh before export.

heh you gotta make sure you do a tut so everyone who wants to map dont have to go through all the pain you have ;)

I plan to, since one course is going to get boring really fast, and I don't want to have to make all of them ;)
